  I went into GameStop the other day to get my son (who’s pretty young & new to video games) a new PS4 game. I enjoy playing video games sometimes but I wouldn’t exactly say I’m a “gamer” by any means and I honestly don’t know much about any game other than one of the first COD games that came out. Skye and Ricardo**(I think that was his name? I’m so sorry if I got it wrong!!) was working when I was there that day and they were so incredibly helpful. Their customer service was just off the charts amazing and they knew exactly which games to direct me to for my son. There were multiple people in the store while I was there and they handled it at ease, while thoroughly taking care of every single customer there. I have been in the restaurant industry for 13 years, where obviously customer service is extremely important—- just as customer service is extremely important when working in retail stores. In all of my years in the industry, and all of my years just simply going to stores and restaurants, I literally have NEVER been taken care of the way these two employees did. **I do not know Sky or Ricardo, nor have I ever met them before walking into Game Stop that day** All these years, I also have never ever left a review for a store or restaurant in my life.. but I literally was so blown away by how personable, hard working, genuine, and good at their job they were... they were just all around genuinely good people.. which, honestly, you don’t get to see very often anymore these days. Game Stop Eldersburg— these two employees need a raise... they effortlessly unsold me into getting the LEGO Destination Startup Kit— which my son was absolutely ECSTATIC over when he saw it! After I had explained the kind of things my son was into, they knew exactly where to direct me and Skye was genuinely excited talking about different games in the store.. you can really tell she’s passionate about it!! Which I absolutely loved! Good choice in hiring these two! They’re definite keepers!
